Meditation Journey Course Overview
Introduction
Meditation is an ancient way of finding peace. The world we now live in is very chaotic and we are often influenced by time, deadlines and the technical world of computers and cell phones.
Because it helps you to balance the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual levels, you can gain so many benefits from meditating. As well as working on the physical body to produce calmness and stillness, our meditations also help the body to produce chemicals that are beneficial to your health.
Many have found that, as well as helping to achieve clarity of thought, the ancient art of meditation can help to manage anxiety, depression, stress and addiction. Either way, with its restorative qualities, meditation can help you to embark on a journey of transformation.
This journey of transformation might be triggered by a positive state that propels you towards greater enlightenment, or it might be triggered by the need to manage areas of your well-being so that you move closer to that positive state.

Outcomes
Our meditation course is a spiritual journey to help you find ‘the candle within’ – so that, no matter what’s going on around you, the flame remains bright and does not go out.
At the end of this course, you will:
- Know how to meditate using varying techniques
- Be able to use these techniques as helpful devices in your in your daily routine
- Be more in touch with yourself and the degree of balance you are experiencing
- Have tools to achieve a feeling of improved peace, calm and wellbeing
- Know how to be ‘in the moment’ – so that worry and anxiety (from the past and future) are non existent

You can expect to complete this course in 6 weeks.
Content (Sessions)
Weekly Content
Meditation goes back over 5,000 years ago but it wasn’t until the 1960s that it started to be recognised in the Western World. Each week we will discover a different type of meditation, helping you to find the type of meditation that best meets your individual needs.
These meditations are channelled from spirit especially for the group of individuals who will attend this course. This approach helps our group members to find stillness and acceptance even though there may be chaos around them (for example, from family members, friends, or due to work situations or illness).
Components (Sessions)
Designed and delivered by Carole McCarthy, the Angelite Meditation Journey course comprises:
- Meditation 1. Stillness (Still the mind)
- Meditation 2. Awareness (Opening up our awareness)
- Meditation 3. Peacefulness (Let’s ‘let go’)
- Meditation 4. Connectedness (Perceiving nature)
- Meditation 5. Acceptance (Learning from creatures great and small)
- Meditation 6. Expansion (Unfolding to the Universe)
These meditation classes are usually held in the evening, on a Wednesday.
Bookings
Prerequisites: None
Refreshments: Tea or coffee provided
Time: 7 pm – 8 pm
Cost: $10.00 per session (based on a group of 10.) Join our group and make friends with like-minded individuals.
Dates: Usually, we hold our meditation classes on Wednesday evenings (See Angelite Event Calendar).
